Matching Christmas PJ Round-Up!

Ok, ok, so I love a matching set of pj’s. Over the years I’ve made my boys match quite a bit but there’s nothing quite like matching Christmas jammies and of course Marc and I have started to join in on the fun! It’s become quite a trend really, and now we see entire extended families will all order matching sets! Given Christmas this year might look a little bit different, I thought I’d share some of my favourite spots to buy matching jammies early enough that you can order and get to your loved ones for a fun Christmas photo op! Here’s a little trip down our matchy-matchy memory lane …

The speciality movie quote jammies are from a site called www.popcultfamily.com. They have a super fun assortment of matching goodies from movies like Elf and Home Alone – problem is their shipping takes quite a while. When I ordered these last year I think I ordered in September and received in November and it took about 8 weeks – that was pre-COVID so I don’t want to recommend trying them in case they don’t arrive in time. I will let you take the gamble! There are definitely the usual suspects that I’ll share my favourites from – Old Navy being the biggest one but a few spots have popped up for me this year that I thought I’d summarize for you too!

#1 is The Children’s Place – my boys’ jammies for this year are from there and they are adorable! Buffalo plaid reindeer and polar bears with footprints – so cute! It’s called the Winter Forest Collection and they have all sizes, including adult sizes for the whole family! Also sharing links to a few other patterns I love, including these that I snagged for our doggies!

I also thought these ones were cute in the traditional holiday tartan. I don’t generally like a date on my clothes because then you know how long you’ve owned it for (ha ha!) BUT perhaps it would be a fun way to remember this crazy year of 2020 and how we had to stick together as a family!

#2 Amazon – we all know we can basically find everything we could ever want on this online retailer and this is no different but buyer beware! You have to really read the product descriptions as I got duped this year on our full family set. I ordered these (what I thought were) adorable Grinch jammies but when they actually arrived they were polyester and not comfy. PJ’s should be made of something breathable and super cozy in my opinion and these are not. They are fine for the sake of a family photo op but not otherwise so I won’t recommend them! I’m sure there’s lots of good sets to be found on Amazon but just giving a warning! Always read reviews! Here’s some cute ones I found!

These ones seem only fitting for the upcoming winter with the “Let’s Hibernate” message and they are actually more winter than Christmas so they can last you the whole season if you want a bit more longevity!

If you’re a buffalo plaid lover like me, this is your one stop shop – red or white, they have both for the whole fam!

I think this set is completely adorable – Santa Knows What’s Up! They also have matching plaid for the whole fam! Super cute!

If you’re looking for great quality, look no further than Indigo! They carry Hatley brand and the collections are so sweet. This winter pattern is also adorably sweet, gender neutral and feels very Canadian! Available for the whole fam too!

Lastly I’m sharing a new find that has tons of options! Lazy One sets up pop ups in the malls most holiday seasons but I haven’t paid too much attention. They have so many options for matching family sets and they’re all so cute! Check out their site here and I’m sharing a few of my fav options below! I’m on the gnome trend bandwagon so I’m loving these …

And who doesn’t love a picture on the bum? They have lots of these “Flapjack Onesies” with different witty sayings on the bum – always good for some family entertainment and the kids will love ’em! Not sure how easy it is to use the bathroom for the kiddos though but they’re sweet nonetheless!

Ok ok, I could go on and on as this trend is EVERYWHERE! But just thought I’d share some of fav spots to find cute jammies as I like to mix it up each year! Are you on the matching train?
