Last Minute Amazon Gifts You’ll Love!

If you’re anything like me, gift giving at the holidays is the absolute best! I LOVE picking out gifts for people and especially wrapping them all up! My husband is not the most creative gift giver in the world and generally requires me to provide him with a list of things I’d like. Every time he’s tried to stray from a list, it hasn’t ended overly well haha! I hate wasting money so to keep something I don’t totally love is not really “me” per se so I will return something he gives me if I don’t love it. If you know him, ask him about the jewelry incident of our 7th Anniversary 😉

All of that to say that I usually think up some things I’d like and send his way. If you’re in the same boat but time is running out and you’re not sure what to ask for, I thought I’d line up some of my favourites I’ve found on Amazon for easy gifting ideas for you! Of course, especially this year, shopping local is encouraged! So many small shops are doing curbside pick up and I’d love to see us all supporting our local makers and cute shops. But some things you just can’t find there, and so here are some of my Amazon favs!

  1. Revlon One Step Hair Dryer – I asked for this last Christmas and I love it! It dries my thick hair and straightens at the same time. It takes a bit of work to get your roots fully dry but it certainly dries faster than my normal dryer and eliminates the straightening process! Amazon looks to not be available til after Christmas so I’m sharing a link from Walmart!

2. Shiatsu Neck Massager – you guys, this thing is a lifesaver! I’ve had it for a few years and it is AMAZING! It wraps around your back/neck and you put your arms through the holders and can adjust your own tension as you see fit. The massagers rotate in two different directions and you can also add heat! If you’re stuck on what to get a person who has everything, this is a great idea! Mom, Dad, Grandpa – they’ll all love it!

3. Milk Frother/Steamer – since we’re all at home so much, making your own fancy coffee is super easy at home with this little gadget! I’ve been using it for the year and love it! I actually asked for this last Christmas. You can froth or steam the milk and use it warm or cold. I love the foam it makes and a little holiday secret – I put Eggnog in it for Eggnog Lattes and Bailey’s also works too!

4. Dash Mini Waffle Maker – this one is out of stock on Amazon so I’m linking from Indigo but I find their shipping to be super quick! This is an affordable and fun little gift! Add a pancake/waffle mix and some maple syrup for a cute theme (I love those!). You make waffles one at a time but for a single person or small family it’s great. I like it better than hauling out my heavy full sized waffle maker and it’s easier to clean!

5. Yeti Rambler Mug – I ordered this was the last Amazon gift card I received and I love it for working from home to take my coffee to my desk! I have the aqua colour but it’s newly out in this forest green. For any coffee drinker, this is a great choice!

6. Conair Fabric Steamer – I’m an ironer for sure. Wrinkled clothes make me cringe. I’d never used a steamer but got this for Xmas last year and I really like it! It’s great for doing clothes quickly and I also use it on curtains and bedding. If you like this pressed and no wrinkles, or know someone who does, this is a practical idea!

7. Essential Oil Diffuser – you see these all over the place now but I have a few from Amazon and I think they do just as good a job as the expensive ones from the bigger oil companies. There are tons to choose from but here is a fun one that has a remote! I diffuse an immune blend all.the.time these days and think these make a great gift!

8. Cozy Cardigan – I’m a sweater girl so I know I’d love receiving one as a gift! This cardigan is like a warm hug and comes in a TON of different colours. Wear it with jeans or leggings – it’s certainly long enough for both and it’s just super duper comfy!

9. Cookbooks! We’ve done so much eating at home this year I have really gone down the rabbit hole of great cookbooks so I’m sharing a few of my favourites! In my opinion, if someone loves to cook then you can never have too many!

Fraiche Food Full Hearts – by Jillian Harris and her cousin Tori Wesszer – this book is sweet because it lays out menus for all different holidays and shares lots of their family favourites! Lots of vegan and plant based recipes but ways to adjust if that’s not your thing. My favourite are the Cherry Vanilla Scones!

Half Baked Harvest – by Teighan Gerard – I have been obsessing over Half Baked Harvest for most of 2020! I follow her on Instagram and she is always posting the most amazing recipes! I’ve tried many and every one has been mouth watering and delicious! Her website has a recipe search function so I think you can find most of her creations at www.halfbakedharvest.com but I love having a hard copy cookbook too! She has two books but the other looks to be sold out until February!

Yum & Yummer – this is written by the women who originally created the Looney Spoons cookbooks and it’s so good! It’s chalk full of incredible recipes that are all healthified a little bit! One of my all time favourite soup recipes is from this book and it’s my go-to when I’m thinking through what to make. I just love it and know you will too!

10. Keurig Dual Coffee Maker – Ok, I am not much of a coffee snob so I’ll preface it with that. I don’t need the Nespresso that makes all the fancy things because I don’t mind using my frother (above!) and making my own. Some people are VERY passionate about their coffee but if you have someone to gift who you know is a coffee drinker but isn’t too fussy, I love this machine! We have this and use it every day – I love being able to make a pot of coffee for when we’re both drinking a few cups each, but also having the ability to make a single serving if we like – great for filling a travel mug when you’re on the go! All in all, I use this and love it so thought I’d share as an option!

There’s a quick round up of 10 items that will come by Christmas! If your hubby is still asking what you want, perhaps you’ll find something here that’s a good option! Remember, try to shop small if you can. I’m sure there are many small shops taking curbside pick up orders right til Christmas Eve! But, Amazon to the rescue on some things you may not find elsewhere!

Happy Holidays y’all!
